The UK company receiving the services must hold a valid Global Business Mobility sponsor licence. This licence allows them to sponsor overseas workers under the Service Supplier visa route. The sponsor must have a clear understanding of their responsibilities, including record-keeping and reporting duties.
The applicant's role in the UK must be directly linked to the service contract between the overseas business and the UK company. This means the role should be essential for the delivery of the contracted services and should require specific skills or expertise.
Applicants must provide a valid passport or travel document to prove their identity and nationality. The passport should be valid for the duration of the stay in the UK and have at least one blank page for the visa.
Applicants need to provide proof of their employment with the overseas company. This includes employment contracts, pay slips, and a letter from the employer confirming the applicantβs role and duration of employment.
Applicants must demonstrate they can support themselves financially during their stay in the UK. This can be shown through personal savings or a certificate of sponsorship from the UK sponsor confirming maintenance support.
